Annie Truxell Photos 5: 1990s to Present
Annie left Deia to return to New York City in the 1990s. She continued to paint in her Chelsea studio until 2008, when she survived a stroke. Though reluctant to leave New York, Annie moved to Asheville, North Carolina to be near her sister and extended family. Today she is a vibrant member of West Asheville's "new bohemian" society and beloved for her wit and wonderful stories of her many adventures. |
